SHOPS OPEN TONIGHT Adv. in the Bulletin announces shops will be open tonight in Try on until 9. Coffee will be served to visitors at Betty Sturgis Shop, Valhalla Handweavers, Tack Shop, Book Sihelf, Hearthside, Blue Ridge Weavers and Red Bird Associates. Ballenger’s open tonight also for those who wish to register for a free coat. No coffee. Carl Hinrichs, student at State College, Raleigh, will spend the holidays ;n Tryon. Mrs. Sam Vance leaves Friday for Columbia, S. C., where she will spend the Christmas holidays with relatives. Bill Baker and Carroll Brady, students at the University of North Carolina are expected home Thursday night for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Maxwell and son, Sandy of Hartsviile, S.
